Good basic feed quality is becoming increasingly significant - so it is very important to obtain the maximum quality from your own feed harvest when bringing in and preserving silage. Here, the MAMMUT silage roller serves to increase the compaction performance of the rolling vehicle in grass and corn silage. The feed is ideally compacted – this avoids unwanted air pockets and the feed quality is increased in the long term.

WELL THOUGHT-OUT CONSTRUCTION

The height and shape of the discs are matched to the rolling body in such a way that a very high point load and thus an optimum depth effect in the silo is achieved. In addition, the large distance between the discs prevents the roller from sticking during compaction.

INDIVIDUAL TOTAL WEIGHT

Both the roller body itself and the frame can be filled with water. This means that the total weight of the silage roller can be easily adjusted to suit the application and tractor power. Rollers mounted on the side of the frame moreover protect the "Silo Kompakt" and also the silo wall from damage.

FOR ADDITIONAL COMFORT

With a hydraulic cylinder, the roller can be moved 500 mm to the right and left. This allows safe working even on edges and walls. For the hydraulic side shifting, only a double-acting control on the carrier vehicle is necessary.
